Design Led Venture 2023 Expression of Interest

It is that time of year for Year 7-12 students to express your interest in our exciting
Design Led Venture Program (DLV) for 2023.

This is a learning experience you won’t get anywhere else!

You have the opportunity to work with companies, government and/or community organisations to:

• make an impact in the world you live in,
• understand their industry and business,
• interact with stakeholders (customers, employees, managers, suppliers etc),
• hone your design thinking skills, and
• work as a team to present the best solution to the client.

These organisations need and value your creative thinking to help them solve real problems and challenges and are craving you to present innovative, fresh ideas.

It is a 12-week commitment, 2.5 hours a week during school time. We try where possible to rotate these time around so that you do no miss the same classes.
You will experience real world learning that will give you an edge over your peers, that include:

• foster a range of creativity dispositions
• hone their creative thinking skills,
• learn new digital skills,
• teamwork, and
• entrepreneurial skills and so much more.

The learning and experiences that you are exposed to in getting involved with a DLV is just as valuable as any other.

Joining a DLV is a great way for you to develop and demonstrate the leadership qualities and values our Global Citizenship Program and Service Learning. It is an authentic form of work experience that provides you a chance to develop invaluable skills for the workplace.
